One of our patron families, the Tang family, recently explained how they raised their kids to encourage their curiosity. Every Saturday, Mom and Dad took the three boys to their CALS library,

“C’mon! You ain’t gonna get this at Big Fitness! They’re gonna charge you fifty dollars!”

Harlem, our library fitness coach, sounds like a pro. He yells encouragement and funny comments to keep the class moving and happy.

Twenty-five years of bringing people together in Perry County

The Max Milam Library just celebrated its silver anniversary of sterling service to the community.

Due to an unforeseen maintenance issue, CALS Dee Brown Library’s hours of operation will be Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., beginning Monday, August 6. Patron HOLDS will remain on the shelf 10 days instead of the normal 7 days to allow patrons additional time to pick up their items.
