LIBRARY CLERK – Part-time 20 hours/week public service position at the Terry Library (2015 Napa Valley Dr, Little Rock, AR 72212). Seeking energetic, customer service-oriented applicant with exceptional sorting ability, great attention to detail, and communication skills. Essential duties include shelving items, shelf reading, emptying book bins, working the circulation desk, and answering patron questions. Must be able to stand for long periods, push and pull at least 50 lbs., lift, and squat. Applicants must be available to work Mondays until 8pm and every other Saturday from 9am-6pm. BOOKMOBILE LIBRARY ASSISTANT  – Part-time (20 hours/week) public service position based out of the Main Library at 100 Rock Street, Little Rock, AR. This position primarily focuses on work involving the Bookmobile aka the CALS Cruiser. Must be energetic and detail-oriented, as well as must have excellent communication and time management skills. Conversational Spanish is a plus. Duties including driving the equipped van on a semi-regular basis, setting up the van and its services for public access, assisting patrons with check out/check in, creating library cards, readers advisory, and basic technology troubleshooting regarding all the Bookmobile services. This position will require spending significant time in a vehicle. Other tasks may include shelving library materials, moving library materials between the building and the Bookmobile, and lifting items on and off the van. Applicants must be able to push and pull up to 50lbs and have a good driving record. Pay starts at $15.37 per hour and includes retirement benefits. To apply, please complete the online application.
