CALS Digital Library

In addition to the vast collection of physical items available in our 15 library locations, CALS offers a multitude of digital offerings that can be accessed with your library card on your Apple or Android phones, tablets, or computers. Each app gives you access to different media, including audiobooks, ebooks, magazines, movies, TV shows, graphic novels, and music. If you can’t find a title on one app, be sure to check out the others. Or use the CALS app to search the CALS collection.

hoopla

Borrow audiobooks, eBooks, comics, movies, TV, magazines, or music everywhere you have a screen. hoopla syncs across all your devices, so you can stream titles immediately or whenever you’re in the mood. Most titles can also be downloaded to your phone or tablet. Borrow up to 7 titles per month.*

*CALS has a daily budget cap on hoopla borrows. CALS patrons pull from a collective daily limit; once reached, downloads will be prohibited to ensure continued access to hoopla for all patrons.

Freegal

Freegal is a completely free and legal way to access a collection of almost 7 million songs. Freegal offers many of today’s top artists, a fantastic retrospective collection, and music from around the world. With your CALS library card, you can join the millions of people around the world getting access to great music from Freegal. Download 5 titles per week and keep what you download for unlimited streaming!

Digitalia

Digitalia Film Library is a multilingual collection of films and documentaries from all around the world. The Digitalia ebook collection features a Spanish language collection of 35,000 eBooks from the most recognized publishers from Spain and all the Latin American countries.
