What are you reading, Arianna Dobson?

Tell us about yourself 
Hello, My name is Arianna Dobson and I am 16 years old. I am the youngest sibling out of my sister and brother. I attend Estem High School. I love photography, reading, cooking, drawing, and film. I also love reading books that have been turned into movies. I recently got my first internship at CALS in the Marketing Department, and I have been loving it so far. I love the hands-on experience that I am offered here and the friendly environment.

What are you reading (now, just finished, lined up to start soon), if you’ve finished it, what’s your favorite part (no spoilers!)
My all-time favorite book that I’ve read more than 5 times is Everything, Everything. My favorite thing about this book is how it talks about how love and anything in life can be a great adventure, but it can also be risky. I also love how this book tells a story about a teenage girl who is finding herself and taking all the risk that she can even with her health condition to experience a life that she has been dreaming of.

What is your favorite memory of reading as a child?
My favorite memory of reading as a child was when I would pretend to be in the book that I was reading. I did this because it always made me understand the book better and because it made it more fun. I also love the feeling I got whenever I read. Whenever I read a book everything else around me would just disappear and it was just me and my books for hours.

Where is your favorite place (or time) to read?
The best thing about reading for me is that I can literally read anywhere at any time.

I’ve never been interested in reading any of the Harry Potter books.
