Food Fun at Six Bridges Book Festival

If your favorite books are cookbooks, then we have the events for you. On Saturday, Sept. 30, get in the kitchen with Stacey Mei Yan Fong, Susan Gravely, and Sandra A. Gutierrez for their cooking workshops, or later that day, catch all three together for a panel discussion at 4 p.m. On Sunday, put your baking chops to the challenge with the Root Cafe’s annual pie competition.

Writing Workshops

Saturday, Sept. 30 brings all the writing fun. Workshop I (10 a.m.) has everything you could hope for: breakfast, a collaborative writing game, and CALS writer in residence, Deb Moore. Workshop II (11:30 a.m.) brings in writing duo Quinn Connor and CALS’ Jobe with a unique opportunity to talk shop with these amazing wordsmiths.
