PJ Storytime at Children’s was a colorful success!

Parents and kids joined in the Oliver Jeffers fun Thursday, November 17. PJ Storytime is an event that takes place at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library and Learning Center regularly, but this time things were a bit different. Guests were treated to dinner (soup, sandwiches and salad) while everyone hung out in their PJs (even a few adults!). They took part in a scavenger hunt while going through the Oliver Jeffers: 15 Years of Picturing Books exhibit. Then got to enjoy a reading of Here We Are, by Oliver Jeffers. Everyone was able to choose from copies of several Oliver Jeffers books, crayon sets, and activity books, as well as milk and cookies for their bedtime snack.

You can still go and experience the exhibit, Oliver Jeffers: 15 Years of Picturing Books. This exhibition was organized by the National Center for Children’s Illustrated Literature, Abilene, Texas and originally debuted in June of 2018 for the 7th Annual Children’s Art and Literacy Festival. Exhibition will run through Thursday, Dec. 29 at the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children’s Library & Learning Center during regular library hours.
