Meet Digital Literacy Guide, Camille Davis
Tell me about your job and how the position came to be.
Nathan’s vision for his team and what he wants to accomplish sold me. I also feel like my purpose is good work. Good work connects your values and your actions. It satisfies a craving to express your purpose, and to do that in ways that align intention and impact.
What is your favorite part of the job?
The ability to provided one on one in-depth assistance to individuals in my community is a win for me. Plus with the added travel split between myself and Jakeob allowing me to visit other libraries within CALS gives me the opportunity to meet new people and have different experiences is truly valuable.
What do you want people to know about your position that they probably don’t know?
I really enjoy providing assistance, nothing is too big or too small. I also believe that all people should have the access to the internet as a source of information and support. I can help with that.
