Help Feed Children During Crisis

Children who depend on school lunches are at a high risk of hunger now that schools are closed due to the COVID19 crisis. Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) and the Be Mighty Campaign is serving grab and go meals for kids and their families during this time.

Since March 14th, CALS has served over 2,000 meals to kids and their families. CALS has spent $5,760 for 2,000 meals. More help is needed to feed hungry kids. Our new goal is $25,000 so we can consistently feed kids through the duration of the estimated school closure. CALS will continue to raise money and feed kids and families as more people lose their jobs and the need grows. We can’t do it alone. We need your help to make sure children don’t go hungry.
