Catalog Updates Scheduled for August 17

To better serve our patrons, on the morning of Friday, August 17, CALS will update the software that supports our catalog and allows patrons to log in to various digital libraries, such as Overdrive and Freegal. During the update some of our services will be unavailable and you may not be able to log in to your account in others.

Dee Brown Hours of Operation to Change Temporarily

Due to an unforeseen maintenance issue, CALS Dee Brown Library’s hours of operation will be Monday-Saturday, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m., beginning Monday, August 6. Patron HOLDS will remain on the shelf 10 days instead of the normal 7 days to allow patrons additional time to pick up their items.

Power Outages at McMath and Fletcher

Both McMath Library and Fletcher Library will be closed Saturday, July 21, due to power outages caused by Friday night’s storms.  Entergy predicts power will not be restored until noon Sunday, July 22.  CALS anticipates both branches will reopen for regular operating hours Monday, July 23.  Patrons should check this website for updates.
