I know many of you are eagerly anticipating the grand reopening of the Main Library. For months, we had been preparing to reopen on September 20, following more than two years of renovations to revitalize our downtown library so it can better serve our community.

On Tuesday, February 6, CALS held a “Wall Breaking” ceremony to kick off the interior demolition of the library. It included a huge turnout of patrons, CALS staff, and members from CDI Contractors as well as the architects from Polk Stanley Wilcox.
