Pulitzer Prize winners announced in June so chances are you haven’t gotten around to reading them all yet, so here they are just in case you need a reminder. CALS also had a brush with a Pulitzer nominee.

CALS Staffer Susie Sward likes books, but she wants to recommend a television series as her pick. Humans is a British television show about—what else?—robots. There are some humans in it as well.

Kay Kay recently downloaded the Red at the Bone audiobook and thinks it was phenomenal. The story is about three generations trace the effects of race, religion, sexuality, and class on their family.
