Summer Reading Club 2022: Oceans of Possibilities
CALS Summer Reading Club encourages reading and engagement in library activities for all ages. Online registration is available at cals.beanstack.org or through the Beanstack Tracker mobile app. Once registered, readers can get book recommendations, keep track of their reading through a log, and earn digital badges for reading, attending programs, and other activities. Digital badges earned will count as entries in our weekly prize drawings.
Everyone who registers can pick up a free book bag at our branches while supplies last. We will also be giving away Travelers baseball tickets for games on June 7 and August 2 to Summer Reading participants.
We are also excited that in-person events are making a comeback! We will be exploring our summer theme “Oceans of Possibilities” through special performances, crafts, and other programs. We will also continue to offer grab & go activity bags that can be picked up for an at-home craft or project.

About Beanstack
CALS has partnered with Beanstack, an easy-to-use, mobile-friendly website which offers age-appropriate book recommendations for kids, teens, adults, and families, based on your interests and background. Summer Reading Club participants may also track their reading and log their summer library activity to earn badges and entries into our weekly prize drawings.
When you register for Summer Reading Club with the Beanstack app, you can choose to receive regular emails which include reader recommendations, helpful learning tips, and activities for each book selected. If you click the link in the email, you’ll have direct access to the CALS catalog where you can place an item on hold and pick it up at your favorite branch.
