Friends of the Library Week

Friends of the Library Week is October 16 – 22. “Friends of the Library” are individuals who purchase annual memberships and those dues go toward funding some important programming, like the book festival, book club kits and some of the Arkansas Sounds Concerts. At the Central Arkansas Library System, we call them Friends of CALS.

Celebrating National Friends of Libraries Week

Our Friends of the Library make a big difference!

This week, October 21-27,  the Central Arkansas Library System is highlighting its Friends of the Library group (FOCAL) as part of the 13th annual celebration of National Friends of Libraries Week.

Over 600 community members belong to our Friends group.
