Hilary Leichter’s first novel, Temporary, was named a best book of 2020 by NPR, Publisher’s Weekly, and others. Her work has appeared in Harper’s, the New Yorker, the New York Times, and Conjunctions, and on the Selected Shorts radio show. She teaches at Columbia University and lives in Brooklyn, New York.
