2024 Six Bridges Author Submission Form

The Six Bridges Book Festival is accepting submissions from March 15 to April 30, 2024.

The 21st annual Fest will take place Sept. 23 to Sept. 29, 2024. In person sessions will occur in downtown Little Rock, Sept. 26 to Sept. 29. The Fest will feature approximately 50 authors. Most books featured at the event are published from October 2023 through the Fest dates.

Please submit one physical copy of the book, or an ARC to:

Attach a note explaining that the book is a submission. Also, complete the submission form (found below), which includes space for a short author biography. If a media kit is available, please attach that on the website or include it with the book you send. Please designate if the author prefers an in-person or virtual session. If the author prefers an in person session, also designate if transportation and lodging are required.

Submissions are shared with the Festival’s talent committee. When evaluating submissions, in addition to literary merit, consideration is given to where books might fit in the overall event.

Invitations are sent through July. If selected, you will hear something by the end of July. Due to the volume of submissions received, submitted materials will not be returned.

Books only available in e-book format or audio format are ineligible.

Self published books will be considered if they meet the following criteria:

• The book has been professionally edited and designed.
• Copies are or will be available from an established wholesaler or distributor, so that bookstores can stock and sell them.
• A marketing plan has been submitted with the title. The plan should include planned press, a schedule of appearances, bookstore visits, and information on where the book may be purchased.
• A link to that author’s (current) website has been provided.
