Jacksonville’s Toy Library Opens Sept 14th

The Wilson Family announces the opening of Gran Gran’s Toy Library within the Nixon Library, 703 W. Main St., Jacksonville, AR.

Library members will be able to check out two educational toys per visit, on Wednesday & Friday mornings from 11:15 am-11:45 am, following the children’s programs on those days. This is a free service, promoting the importance of early childhood learning.

Toys for borrowing include dolls & accessories, ride-on toys, costumes, a variety of blocks, Duplo sets, cars, trucks, mazes, play food, push toys, walkers, and so much more! These toys are appropriate for children ages 6 months-5 years old.

The toy collection is donated in honor of Ruth Nita Nixon Wilson, life-long Jacksonville resident, library lover, role model, and grandmother of nine. Mrs. Wilson was also a close friend of Esther Dewitt Nixon.

Join us at 10:30 on September 14, 2018, for music and story time with Lela Bloom, followed by toy checkouts and refreshments.
