CALS Honors Dr. King with a Series of Racial Healing Programs

In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, CALS and Engage Arkansas will be hosting a series of virtual events centered on the idea of Racial Healing. We invite patrons to spend the week reflecting on Dr. King’s legacy through creativity and community with poetry and painting workshops and a gardening project.

Racial Healing Painting Workshop (Virtual + Grab & Go)

Lorria Eubanks will lead teens to paint canvases that spark racial healing. All kits have been reserved.  Kits must be picked up from your branch by Wednesday, Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. If you would like to be placed on the waitlist, sign up here.
