Rules and Procedures for Curbside Service
Extended curbside library services are now available at all but one of the Central Arkansas Library System branches. Details about available services and procedures vary slightly for each operating branch and are listed below.
Main Library
Service hours: Mon-Sat 9am-6pm
Location: Main Library, 100 Rock St., Little Rock
Available Services:
Returning Items: Items may be returned using the book drop or by checking the items in at the self-service kiosks. Returned items will be removed from your account as soon as they are returned; quarantine of returned items ended on May 1, 2021.
Concierge Pickup: Patrons may call 918-3000 or email maincurbside@cals.org to request items currently available from the Main Library collection. Library staff will confirm the item is available and can be checked out.
Mobile Printing: The regular mobile printing service will be available at Main Library. The first ten pages will be free. For more details about how to use the service, please read about mobile printing here.
Pickup Procedure: When you arrive at the Main Library go to the pickup service drive-thru window located on the north side of the Main Library building (in the alley between the library and the library’s parking deck). Ring the bell at the teller window and give library staff your name and library card number (located on the back of your card). Library staff will pass them to you through the drive-thru service tray.
Milam Library
Service hours: Mon,Wed-Sat 9am-6pm | Tue 9am-8pm
Location: Milam Library, 609 Aplin Ave, Perryville
Available Services:
Returning Items: Items may be returned using the book drop or by checking the items in at the self-service kiosks. Returned items will be removed from your account as soon as they are returned; quarantine of returned items ended on May 1, 2021.

McMath Library

Sanders Library

Nixon Library
Service hours: Mon,Wed-Sat 9am-6pm | Tue 9am-8pm
Location: Nixon Library, 703 W Main St, Jacksonville
Available Services:
Computer Reservations: Limited computer reservations are available weekdays by appointment by calling 501.457.5038. Rules are as follows:
• Bring a mask or face covering and wear it while inside the building.
• The reservation is a maximum of 2 hours.
• A 15-minute grace period is allowed, before a patron is considered a “no-show.”
• Patrons may not request additional time at any point in the reservation.
• No headphones/earbuds will be provided and use of computer speakers is not permitted.
• Water fountains are not available. No food or drinks allowed.
• Staff only available for limited verbal assistance, from a safe distance. Translators or computer skills trainers will not be available. Staff cannot help with internet search, print jobs, any work patron is doing on-line.
• Only the two (2) scheduled patrons will be allowed in the building per reservation.
• There will be no loitering in the foyer area and if patrons exit the building, the reservation is considered over.
• Patrons please call 501-457-5038 or use the bell located on the sign at the rear library entrance door upon arriving to the library.
• Sanitize hands upon entry and exiting. Wall mounted sanitizers available outside and inside the meeting room.

Terry Library
Service hours: Tue-Sat, 9am-6pm | Mon 9am-8pm | Sun 1pm-5pm
Location: Terry Library, 2015 Napa Valley Dr., Little Rock

Dee Brown Library

Pickup Procedure: When you arrive at Dee Brown Library, remain in your vehicle, call 568-7494, and give library staff your name and library card number (located on the back of your card). Library staff will place your items in a bag and leave them on a table at the front door of the library. Once the staff have returned inside the library building, the patron will be invited to pick up their items at the table next to the library’s book drop.
Maumelle Library
Service hours: Mon-Wed, Fri-Sat 9am-6pm | Thu 9am-8pm

Holds Pickup: Beginning Monday, April 27, patrons may retrieve all hold items that are ready for pickup.
