Main Library Opening This Fall!
Main Library has anchored downtown Little Rock since 1997 and was a catalyst for economic development in the River Market district. Its services – and the physical footprint on Rock Street – have changed along with the evolving needs of each generation, this renovation reflects the needs of the next generation.
Database of the Month: Scholastic Watch and Learn Library
Scholastic Watch and Learn Library is an early literacy program in English and Spanish for ages 4 to 8. It includes over 230 videos with real-world footage about science and social studies with closed captioning to support beginning readers and ELL. There are also short, fun quizzes to gauge comprehension and a vocabulary builder too.
