Ways to Give to Your Central Arkansas Library System
Your donation helps us keep thousands of programs and millions of free resources available to everyone in our communities. Whether you can give $10 or a larger donation, every contribution makes a difference.
Community support ensures continuing high quality for vital offerings such as collection acquisitions, which are challenging today’s public library budgets as publishers charge libraries higher prices for popular digital items such as audiobooks and e-books.
And there is much more to 21st century libraries than books! Your gift to CALS also helps fund everyday free programs that provide entertainment, social time and education for people of all ages. Our offerings include cooking demos, business education, digital literacy classes, art and craft clubs, yoga, meditation, musical concerts, movies, language classes, after school activities, and storytimes. Over 10,000 programs per year are helping people and families across Central Arkansas, because you care enough to give.

More Ways to Give at No Cost to You
Did you know that some companies will donate money to CALS on your behalf, at no cost to you, if you just sign up for a rewards program?
Both Kroger and Amazon Smile will donate a percentage of your purchases to a nonprofit group of your choice. We hope you will take a few minutes to sign up and support your public library at no personal cost.
Here are the company’s instructions for both rewards programs, with signup available online at the Kroger and Amazon websites listed below.
Kroger Community Rewards
Kroger Community Rewards makes fund-raising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do everyday. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Plus Card!
A digital account is needed to participate in Kroger Community Rewards. If you already have a digital account, you will need to ensure you have a Plus Card linked to your account. Then, go here to select an organization.

Please note, a Plus Card is required for the Kroger Community Rewards program so that your transactions apply toward the organization you choose.
Selecting the organization that you wish to support is as simple as updating the Kroger Community Rewards selection on your digital account.
Sign in to your digital account.
Enter the name or NPO number of the organization that you wish to support: ours is LL601 and listed under “Central Arkansas Library System Foundation.”
Select the appropriate organization from the list and click “Save.”
Your selected organization will now display in the Kroger Community Rewards section of your account. If you need to review or revisit your organization, you can always find these details under your Account details.
You must present your Shopper’s Card or provide your Alternate ID at the register during the transaction in order for it to count toward the program.
Amazon Smile
AmazonSmile is very simple to use—all you need is an Amazon account.
First, visit the program page at smile.amazon.com.
On your first visit to the site, you will be asked to log in to your Amazon account with existing username and password (you do not need a separate account for AmazonSmile). You will then be prompted to choose a charity to support. During future visits when you enter Amazon through the Amazon Smile page, AmazonSmile will remember your charity and apply 0.5% of your eligible purchase total towards your total contribution—it is that easy!
