The Digital Literacy Guide position was created towards the end of 2021 with funds received from a grant provided by the Windgate Foundation. CALS wanted to focus in on providing some one-on-one assistance for people dealing with technology-related barriers,
Summer Reading Club (SRC) is almost here and this year is packed with fun events, cool projects, and of course, lots of reading! This year’s theme is “Oceans of Possibilities” and explores stories of mysteries, adventure, friendships and more that take place deep within the sea. With your CALS card, you get a number of digital services like e-books, audio books, podcasts, and even magazines. But with Freegal, you also have access to music. Patrons can stream unlimited music as well as download up to 5 songs each week and keep those MP3 files forever.

Why did you join the CALS board?
I joined because I asked and because I believe that libraries like schools are an important and vital part of the things we as citizens own in common.
