Kevin Brockmeier is an award-winning novelist and short-story writer who has been called one of America’s best practitioners of fabulist fiction. He has participated in the Six Bridges Book Festival each year since its inception. His work has been translated into eighteen languages, he teaches frequently at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, and he lives in Little Rock, where he was raised.

Brockmeier will be reading from new work, but his most recent book is The Ghost Variations: One Hundred Stories, a collection of very short flash fiction pieces addressing themes of souls, haunting, ghostliness, and the afterlife.
