Join us for a Personal Archiving workshop (in-person only) from 12 pm to 1 pm and then learn about the DIY Memory Lab. We will show you how to get your family photos, papers, and other heirlooms organized and stored.  some tips and tricks for managing family keepsake photographs and documents.

Bring in up to 5 photos to be scanned on the mobile Memory Lab. Roberts Library Staff members will be there to guide you through the process.

Children’s magician Tommy Terrific will entertain and awe audiences!

Scrapbooking is a great way to showcase memories. There will be a quick introduction to the Cricut and Sizzix machines, which will allow our creativity to shine through! All materials will be provided, but you can always bring your own family and travel photos to really personalize your scrapbook. Adults only, sign up by calling 501-821-3060.

Ready to see art and science combined?! Students will learn how to make their own watercolor paint using everyday items. Trust us — this is taking watercolor to a whole new level. Students will leave with a painting that showcases their custom color palette. For ages K – 12th Grade.

Come hang out and build your imagination with LEGOs at the Thompson Library Lego Club! Happens on the second Tuesday of every month.

In celebration of National Urban Beekeeping Day, families and bee lovers can learn about the importance of bees, their colonies, and the keepers who love them at the Thompson Library. Stay for a craft, a beehive demonstration, and a sweet treat!

Join us at Thompson library for a pregnancy nutrition class led by Be Mighty Little Rock’s own, Heather Amaro! We will learn how to combat morning sickness, fatigue, get proper nutrients, healthy food swaps, and what to stay away from!
