Personal Archiving and Mobile Memory Lab (Thompson Library)
Join us for a Personal Archiving workshop (in-person only) from 12 pm to 1 pm and then learn about the DIY Memory Lab. We will show you how to get your family photos, papers, and other heirlooms organized and stored. some tips and tricks for managing family keepsake photographs and documents.
Bring in up to 5 photos to be scanned on the mobile Memory Lab. Roberts Library Staff members will be there to guide you through the process.

Scrapbooking Session
Scrapbooking is a great way to showcase memories. There will be a quick introduction to the Cricut and Sizzix machines, which will allow our creativity to shine through! Arkansas Innovation Hub – Watercolor Chemistry
Ready to see art and science combined?! Students will learn how to make their own watercolor paint using everyday items. Trust us — this is taking watercolor to a whole new level. Students will leave with a painting that showcases their custom color palette. For ages K – 12th Grade.

Learn about the life and botanical scientific contributions of Mexican-American botanist Ynés Mexía (1870-1938), who collected over 145,000 specimens and ‘discovered’ and categorized over 500 plants from all over the Americas despite not beginning her career until she was in her 50s. We will make pressed plant suncatchers inspired by her specimen collections.
