For Black History Month we want to enhance the education of Black History through our “Make Your Own Easy Readers” packets. Each set includes four Black History figures and information about them in an Easy Reader format for you to cut out and combine. While supplies last.
This project is all about embracing imperfection and celebrating happy accidents. The goal is to create a piece of mixed media artwork that has an aged, lived in, layered, textured, and patinaed look to it. There is no right or wrong, and there are no mistakes! Don’t overthink, just experiment! Kits available to adults 16+ on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Kits will be available via curbside and/or at the circulation desk.
