Wouldn’t it be great to have a writing lesson with your favorite author so they could teach you how they do what it is they do? Now you can—in a way—by joining us as we read and examine a book together, reading as writers. We’ll meet once a week for 4 weeks to take a book apart and see how it works. Class space is limited.

Presented by CALS Writing Circle, this ongoing class meets once each week and takes attendees aged 55+ through the steps of writing their own life stories. You’ll be given tools and techniques to help you learn to write regularly and productively. Everyone is welcome; no writing experience is required.
No matter who you are, there are many reasons to write about your life. The act of writing your story can be a healing and transformative journey; it helps identify the threads and themes in your life and make sense of what you’ve lived.

Did you know that dreaming keeps us healthy? Or that most of us dream most of the time and just don’t remember our dreams on waking? Have you ever been curious about where your dreams come from or what they might mean? You don’t have to be a writer to get something out of this writing class! Get tips and tricks on keeping a better record of your own dreams, how to retain more, and how to interpret them! Mini-lessons in dream interpretation and weekly get-togethers to compare notes and discuss.

Are you looking for a writing workshop group? Led by J. Jobe, Writing All Year is a place to share your work-in-progress with other writers. We meet twice a month to give and receive encouragement, insight, and feedback in a safe and respectful environment. Our objective: to improve the work with kindness and compassion.
