Kristin Stroh of Long Dog Art
What inspired you to start your entrepreneurial journey, and how do you hope your work will impact women’s lives or the broader community?
The vision of my entrepreneurial journey comes from a belief in the power of wearable art to bring joy to people’s lives. I hope to inspire women by fostering a sense of empowerment and confidence through self-expression.
Can you share a significant challenge you’ve faced as a woman entrepreneur and how you overcame it? What did this experience teach you?
I’m grateful for the brave women who have cleared the path for aspiring entrepreneurs like myself, allowing me to focus on growing my business without having yet encountering gender- specific challenges. This experience reinforces my commitment to supporting and empowering women in the entrepreneurial space.
What piece of advice would you give to aspiring women entrepreneurs and where do you see your business in the next five years?
Be tenacious. Know your value. Lean into a good support system. And be unapologetically yourself. I see myself in the next 5 years being active in the maker community and sharing my experience with women entrepreneurs of tomorrow.
