About the author:
Milo Todd, a Massachusetts Cultural Council grantee and a Lambda Literary Fellow, is co–editor in chief at the journal Foglifter. He teaches creative writing and history primarily to queer and trans adults, and he has received awards, accolades, and fellowships from such places as Tin House, Pitch Wars, GrubStreet, and Monson Arts. His work has appeared in Slice magazine and elsewhere.
About the book:
The Lilac People is a moving and deeply humane novel about a trans man who must relinquish the freedoms of pre-World War II Berlin to survive first the Nazis then the Allies while protecting the ones he loves.
