Six Bridges Presents: Brad Taylor

Explore the latest installment of the Pike Logan series: End of Days

Little Rock, AR – On Thursday, January 27, at 6:30 p.m., the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), will host Six Bridges Presents: Brad Taylor. Join us virtually as Taylor discusses his latest book, END OF DAYS: A Pike Logan Novel. The New York Times-bestselling author of the Pike Logan series and former Special Ops officer delivers an action-packed international thriller involving a plot to bring about the end of the world and a serial killer on the loose in the heart of Rome.

Taylor, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.), is a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Army Infantry and Special Forces, including eight years with the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment – Delta, popularly known as Delta Force, where he commanded multiple troops and a squadron. Taylor retired in 2010 after serving more than two decades and participating in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as classified operations in Afghanistan and around the globe. His final military post was an Assistant Professor of Military Science at the Citadel. He holds a Master’s of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School, with a concentration in Irregular Warfare.

In END OF DAYS, his sixteenth Pike Logan novel, Taylor blends an all-too-plausible geopolitical nightmare that could have been ripped from today’s headlines with an unforgettable cast, authentic operational details, and heart-pounding action, whether it’s free climbing buildings in Rome, parachuting out of a Learjet, or tracking terrorists in the Syrian desert. It’s a stellar combination that makes him “one of today’s premiere authors writing about the world of Special Ops.” (Associated Press)

Steve Straessle, principal at Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys, will serve as moderator for this event.

Additional Speaker Series events have been scheduled, with full details coming soon. Expect Chip Jones on February 17 and Phong Nguyen in August.
