Parting is such sweet sorrow

We’ve been saying that the Galleries & Bookstore at Library Square would close soon and it’s finally happening. We’re in the last month and while we’re all sad to see it go, it’s helping make way for progress and a new (and vastly improved!) Main Library. The upside is, we have a surplus of gently read books that need a new home and we’re moving them out at basement sale prices – $1 paperbacks and $2 hardbacks. Our selection of gift items are also being sold for 50% off. It’s the perfect time to stock up for Moms, Dads, and Grads, so gift that special someone in your life a book (they don’t have to know you got a great deal on it).

Art and many of our local author books are supplied to us on a consignment basis and are not part of this sale. The areas with sale books are clearly marked.

The Galleries & Bookstore will close on May 31, at which point we will begin making way for “Mini Main” a small version of Main Library that will live within the space while the flagship CALS building undergoes a massive renovation that’s anticipated to begin September 2023 and should complete in 2025.
