Little Rock, AR \u2013 On Thursday, January 27, at 6:30\u00a0p.m., the Central Arkansas Library System (CALS), will host Six Bridges Presents: Brad Taylor. Join us virtually as Taylor discusses his latest book,\u00a0END OF DAYS: A Pike Logan Novel<\/em>.\u00a0The\u00a0New York Times<\/em>-bestselling author of the Pike Logan series and former Special Ops officer\u00a0delivers an action-packed international thriller involving a plot to bring about the end of the world and a serial killer on the loose in the heart of Rome.<\/p>\n

Taylor, Lieutenant Colonel (Ret.), is a 21-year veteran of the U.S. Army Infantry and Special Forces, including eight years with the 1st\u00a0Special Forces Operational Detachment \u2013 Delta, popularly known as Delta Force, where he commanded multiple troops and a squadron. Taylor retired in 2010 after serving more than two decades and participating in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, as well as classified operations in Afghanistan and around the globe. His final military post was an\u00a0Assistant Professor of Military Science at\u00a0the Citadel. He holds a Master\u2019s of Science in Defense Analysis from the Naval Postgraduate School, with a concentration in Irregular Warfare.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0END OF DAYS<\/em>, his sixteenth Pike Logan novel, Taylor blends an all-too-plausible geopolitical nightmare that could have been ripped from today\u2019s headlines with an unforgettable cast, authentic operational details, and heart-pounding action, whether it\u2019s free climbing buildings in Rome, parachuting out of a Learjet, or tracking terrorists in the Syrian desert. It\u2019s a stellar combination that makes him\u00a0\u201cone of today\u2019s premiere authors writing about the world of Special Ops.\u201d (Associated Press)<\/p>\n

Steve\u00a0Straessle, principal at Little Rock Catholic High School for Boys, will serve as moderator for this event.<\/p>\n
