Festival Submissions

The submission window runs from January 1 through April 15, 2021, for the 2021 Festival. Most books and authors are determined by the end of July for the following Festival. The Festival’s talent committee also nominates books and votes on which books make the roster.

To have a book considered for the roster, please submit one copy of the book, a short author biography, and a note designating if the author will need travel and lodging. The Festival’s travel budget is limited. Also, include a way to reach the author, agent, or publicist.

Most books chosen for the roster are published in the time period since the last Festival. The talent committee generally does not recommend self-published books for the roster. All books must be available for sale at the standard publishing discount rate.

If the submission is an actual printed copy, please include a self-addressed, stamped envelope if you would like the submission returned. Books that come with those envelopes are usually returned by February 15.
