CALS Writing Circle Meeting: It’s a Writing Marathon!
Looking for a great excuse to stretch your creative muscles? Or maybe you need a way to get unstuck? Join us for a Saturday afternoon writing marathon guaranteed to spark and inspire. Writers of all stripes and experience level are welcome.
We’ll start with a one- or two-line Story Starter (ex: Icy fingers gripped my arm in the darkness). After writing for ten minutes, we’ll take turns reading what we’ve written. No critiques or comments (other than “thank you”) are allowed. Then we’ll do it again!
Inspired by Natalie Goldberg’s Writing Down the Bones.
This is a virtual class. Email email@example.com for more information.
Join us as for a Story Starters/Writing Marathon mash-up guaranteed to get your creative juices flowing!
Due to ongoing public health concerns, Central Arkansas Library System (CALS) has suspended all programs and outreach through the end of August. We will be providing virtual programming and other online services during this time. For more information, go to cals.org.
