Exploring the World: A Virtual Field Trip Adventure

Need a sub assignment? Have your students gone virtual? Or do you just need to get out of the classroom? Create your own virtual field trip using Google Slides to help guide exploration in a dynamic and interactive way.

A virtual field trip is a digital journey to a place of learning that can be explored from the comfort of your own home.  Through Google Slides, participants can visit museums, historical sites, and other famous landmarks. Learn about culture and history of places you want to visit, as well as engage in activities that bring the experience to life. This is a great way to supplement traditional field trips or provide an alternative option when an in-person trip isn’t possible.

In this class, you’ll learn:

  • how to create an interactive slideshow in Google Slides
  • when to hide a slide
  • how to add a button
  • where to insert videos and images to engage viewers
  • And more!
