Video for the Web (Live Online Class)

Video content has never been more important for reaching your audience (or building an audience) than it is right now. Fortunately, there’s a good chance you already have everything you need to make compelling video content! In this session, we’ll talk about the fundamentals of making great online video, including:

  • How to make it look good
  • How to get the best sound you can
  • The basics of video editing
  • File formats and codecs
  • And many more tips and tricks!

Attendee Information

The video editing portion of the class uses Shotcut; a free, open-source video editor that works on a variety of computers. You may want to install it on your computer prior to class time. It might also be helpful to install Zoom on your computer or mobile device beforehand (which you can do by clicking here), since this class is offered as a Zoom webinar.
