Virtual BingoFlix: Made in Arkansas May! Pass the Ammo (1988, R)

Join us for Virtual BingoFlix: Made in Arkansas May! Play bingo along to cheesy movie cliches during a virtual watch party for your chance to win a free movie pass to the theater once we reopen. This month we’re celebrating the 2021 Made in Arkansas Film Festival by screening films made in Arkansas!

On Tuesday, May 25, join us for Pass the Ammo (1988, R)! When Claire learns her grandmother has been bilked out of $50,000 by the crooked televangelists Ray (Tim Curry) and Darla Porter (Annie Potts), she recruits her redneck boyfriend Jesse (Bill Paxton) to help recover the money. They travel to the Tower of Bethlehem deep in the Arkansas woods to break into the studio and hold the hosts of the show hostage. A satire of greedy televangelists, Pass the Ammo was made in Eureka Springs and opens with a helicopter shot of the giant Christ of the Ozarks statue.
