Kombucha Workshop: Learn how to make your own kombucha at home

Kombucha is a sweet and sour effervescent fermented tea drink with probiotic live cultures. This workshop will cover the basics of making your own kombucha from scratch, from the initial starting phase to feeding and adding customized flavors during the second fermentation phase. Participants will get to take home their own “SCOBY” starter culture. This event will take place in the Fribourgh Room on the first floor of Main Library. Registration is preferred, but walk-ins are welcome if space allows. Email cedwards@cals.org to register.
