Hello World: Intro to Code

You don’t have to be a tech genius to write computer code; join us for Hello World: Intro to Code! In this class, you’ll dip into the basics of writing computer programs, and even write your first program. This is an introductory class; no previous code experience is required. You’ll learn in the popular Python programming language, but the techniques we cover apply to any programming language.

Starting from the ground up, you’ll discover how to:

  • write in a way computers understand.
  • store information in your programs for later use.
  • make your programs truly interactive.
  • fix problems with your code.
  • improve your programs with new features.
  • and more!
