Exploring Google Earth

Using Google Earth, you can explore geographical content, and see satellite images, maps, landscapes, and more. Check out pre-made tours called “Voyages” where you can see notable landmarks, and try the classic computer game “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?” as well as other games and quizzes. You can create your own tours, find a global scavenger hunt, see a timelapse of coastline changes, and even leave Earth to explore the Moon or Mars.

In this class, you’ll see how to:

  • explore satellite images and maps
  • find pre-made tours
  • teach through gamification
  • and more!
