Microsoft Excel Part 2: Formulas, Charts, and Data Validation

If you’re familiar with using the basics of Microsoft Excel, there’s still plenty more to explore! Building on that basic knowledge, this class will teach you:

  • The skills to create formulas (the power tools of Excel) to fit your needs
  • How to use charts to represent your data with eye-catching visuals
  • What data validation is, and how you can use it to keep your information organized and usable
  • Why you might want to use names and absolute references in Excel

This is the second session of a three-part Excel course. If you’re familiar with the basics of Excel, attendance at Part 1 is not required. However, if you’d like to attend the other sessions, click here to search for other upcoming Excel classes.

This session will take place in the technology classrooms on the 3rd floor of the Main Library. You can register on this page, or via email (digital@cals.org) or phone (501-918-3068).
