Free film screening: A Love Song for Latasha and Crip Camp

Join us for a free virtual screening of two 2021 Oscar nominated documentary films. We will show short documentary A Love Song For Latasha followed by feature documentary Crip Camp. 
A Love song for Latasha:  The killing of Latasha Harlins became a flashpoint for the 1992 LA uprising. This documentary evocatively explores the 15-year-old’s life and dreams. Directed by Sophia Nahli Allison. 19 minutes.
Crip Camp: A groundbreaking summer camp in Woodstock NY galvanizes a group of teens with disabilities to help build an activist movement, forging a new path toward greater equality. Directed by James Lebrecht and Nicole Newnham. 108 minutes.
