Book Signing: Rhona Weaver, A Sacred Duty
Arkansas author, Rhona Weaver, will be signing books at the Adolphine Fletcher Terry Library branch, 2015 Napa Valley Dr., on Monday, June 27 at 5:30 p.m.
Weaver is local to Arkansas a no stranger to CALS; she participated as a guest author during the 2021 Six Bridges Book Festival with her debut novel, A Noble Calling. After a brief reading from the sequel, A Sacred Duty, she will be signing copies. This novel series is not yet complete as Weaver is working on a third book. Her books are considered “clean” crime fiction; in this series, the lead character is a rookie FBI special agent stationed in Yellowstone National Park.
Rhona Weaver is a retired swamp and farmland appraiser who had a thirty-five-year career in agricultural real estate and founded a program for at-risk children in Arkansas. She is a graduate of the University of Arkansas, a Sunday school teacher, and an avid gardener. Growing up on a cattle farm in the Ozarks gave her a deep appreciation of the outdoors and wildlife. Her novels draw on her love of the land and her profound admiration for the men and women in our law enforcement community, who truly share a noble calling.
WordsWorth Books will be on hand with copies of both books for purchase. Books can be reserved via wordsworthbookstore.com or by calling 501-663-9198. For more information about the event, contact Fabio Delgado at email@example.com or 501.228.0129.
