Equilla Walker – Visions from the Lens of My Soul

Artist talk and workshop: April 22, 2019 5:00 p.m.

 

The work of Equilla Walker will be showcased at the Dee Brown Library during April 22 – May 22, 2019. Her exhibit Visions from the Lens of My Soul is a retrospective look at her work that spans 20 years behind the lens. In her work she aims to tell a story, inspire, or capture the beauty in everyday life.  

 

Join us April 22 At 5pm for a talk by Equilla Walker about her work and life as an artist and photographer. Afterwards, she will conduct a fun Earth Day celebration workshop that will focus on creating a photographic collage using recycled materials. 

 

About the Artist: Equilla Walker’s accomplishments include being an Arkansas Registry Artist, Professional Photographers of America Member, having a solo Exhibit at Williams Library February 2019 entitled Black Child Beautiful.
