Join CALS Ron Robinson Theater, the Mosaic Templars Cultural Center, and Arkansas PBS for this FREE event celebrating Juneteenth and Arkansas Black communities!

Dream Land: Little Rock’s West 9th Street (2017, NR): Little Rock, Arkansas’s West 9th Street was once a vibrant African-American business and entertainment district home to Taborian Hall and the Dreamland Ballroom. This documentary explores the street’s glory days and how Urban Renewal, the Eisenhower Interstate Program, and more influenced its future. Told by local residents and historians, “Dream Land” seeks to recognize, memorialize, and share the significant past of the once-thriving West 9th Street.

Admission is FREE and reservations are NOT required. Seating will be first-come, first-served. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and the event starts at 7:00 p.m. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available.

Masks are recommended but not required.
