CALS is an Entrepreneurial Hub
We want to help you start or grow your own business. There are free classes and programs across all library branches to teach skills needed to start and run a business and to showcase your product or service in today’s digital market. Most meeting spaces and some other resources require advanced booking. Check with the local branch for specific rules.
Most CALS branches offer public wifi, public desktop computers with Microsoft Office installed, meeting space and study rooms, notary services, and database access – including Consumer Reports and Reference USA. In addition, through the CALS website at cals.org, library cardholders may access online education courses, including Hoonuit and Learning Express, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And, all of these services are free! For more information about these system-wide services, click one of the buttons below:

CALS offers a full slate of classes for a range of skill levels. If you’re a technology beginner, you can start out strong with our Computer Essentials classes. To hone your workplace skills, you can attend classes on Microsoft Office products, Mailchimp, Canva, InDesign, and other resume-builders. If you’re a creative type–or want to be–we can teach you about the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (including Photoshop), video editing, photography, and even game development.
