We’re well into April and the Earth Day events are in full swing, Earth Day might be one day, April 22, but CALS is celebrating all month. There’s still time to log into a virtual Zoom event, grab an Earth Day craft, or join in on a park clean up, and you too can make a world of difference.

Or stop by your nearest branch and pick up a grab-and go craft. Below is a list of craft kits and when they will be available. All kits will be available on that date until supplies run out.  

Seed Bombs: April 1 

Create your own seed bombs to grow wildflowers. 

Upcycled craft kit: April 1 

Repurpose and give life to old crayons, plastic bottles and old magazines and newspapers. (Kit does not include these items, you are upcycling your old things) 

Beeswax Wraps: April 10 

Ditch the plastic wrap! Beeswax wraps can replace plastic food wrap, it’s an eco-friendly alternative that’s fun and easy to make. 

Butterfly Brigade: April 10 

Kit includes pollinator plant seeds to bring all the butterflies to your yard.  

Biome in a Bottle: April 17 

Build your own terrarium! We provide everything to get you started, you bring the imagination.
